Nursery / Kindergarten

The Nursery Kindergarten Division is housed in our newly constructed state of the art Early Childhood Center with classrooms, bathrooms and water fountains for their exclusive use.  This very special division offers a full-day experience as well as a mini-day alternative. The mini-day options are either 9:20am to 1:30pm or 11:15am to 4:00pm. The children in the mini-day programs participate in all of the activities of the full-day campers, but only have one swim period, which is divided into instruction and recreation. They also do not have a rest period.

All Nursery/Kindergarten groups are led by licensed teachers, with college or high school students assisting them. The ratio of campers to counselors is usually 4 to 1. In addition, there is a coordinator for the division who assists the group leaders with problems, parent inquiries, etc.  Along with our core athletics and arts programs, activities especially geared for this division  include Pee Wee Pros, tennis, computers, playground, and beach world. Since these younger campers don’t travel off campus, special shows and amusements are brought in for their enjoyment.
