About the Director

Ginger Bloom has been affiliated with Beth Sholom Day Camp since 1976. She began her tenure as a teacher for the Kindergarten group, and over the next thirty-four years served as Nursery-Kindergarten Director, Head Counselor, Assistant Director, and for the past seven summers, Director of the Camp.

Under her guidance, Beth Sholom Day Camp has enhanced its reputation, increased its enrollment and is considered one of the finest day camps in the region. Ginger holds a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Queens College, and is a retired teacher from the New York City Public Schools where she taught for 32 years.
