  2. When should I enroll my child?

    We suggest the earlier the better. Super Early Bird discounts apply until December 15th.

  3. How do I get more information?

    We'd like to hear from you. Either send us an e-mail or call us during office hours beginning December 6, 2010 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. any weekday at (516) 621-9257. Ask for Holly.

  4. Are weeks of registration flexible?

    There is a minimum of 4 weeks required for registration.  However, there is flexibility in which 4 weeks you can attend.

  5. Are there any discounts beyond the Super Early Bird rate?

    If you do not require transportation, there is a $25/week/child discount.  If you are a member of Temple Beth Sholom, there is a $25/week/child discount.

  6. What is the ratio of campers to staff?

    The ratio of campers to counselors is usually 4:1.

  7. Where are most of the children from?

    All across Nassau County and Queens.

  8. How long is the camp day?

    The camp day begins at 9:20 a.m. and dismisses at 4:00 p.m. Our Morning Mini-Day program for 3 & 4 year olds begins at 9:20 a.m. and dismisses at 1:30p.m.  Our Afternoon Mini-Day program for 3 &4 year olds begins at 11:15 a.m. and dismisses at 4:00 p.m.

  9. How does Beth Sholom Day Camp handle food allergies or other dietary restrictions?

    Beth Sholom Day Camp is a tree nut and peanut free camp.  The Beth Sholom Day Camp Nurses and Dietician, in cooperation and communication with group leaders handle all dietary restrictions and food allergies to ensure the safety of all campers.
